Mongolia360 aims to be a trustworthy national portal. This policy describes the standards we hold ourselves to and the process every piece of content goes through before it reaches readers.
Editorial standards
We strive for content that is accurate, clear, fair, and useful. We present places, businesses, regions, and events factually, avoid sensationalism, and label opinion and promotional material distinctly from factual information.
Our review workflow
Content moves through a structured workflow before publishing. Nothing goes live without human review.
- Draft. A contributor or editor creates an item. Community contributions enter the queue as drafts.
- Review. An editor checks the item for accuracy, sourcing, completeness, tone, and policy compliance. They may approve it, or request changes with feedback so it can be revised and resubmitted.
- Published. Only after editorial approval is an item published and made visible to the public.
Sourcing and verification
We verify information against reliable sources wherever possible, including official and primary sources, and cross-check details such as locations, contact information, and event dates. Because conditions in Mongolia change frequently, we encourage readers to confirm time-sensitive details locally, and we mark information that may be limited or unverified.
AI assistance and translation
We may use AI tools to help draft, summarize, or translate content, but AI output is never published unattended. Every AI-assisted draft is reviewed and approved by a human editor before publishing. Likewise, translations across our supported languages are human-verified before they go live, so the meaning and facts remain accurate in every language.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly when we become aware of them. If you spot an inaccuracy or outdated information, please tell us through our contact page and we will review and update the content as needed.
Editorial independence and advertising
Editorial content and advertising are kept strictly separate. Advertisers and partners do not influence our editorial judgments, what we publish, or how we describe places and businesses. Sponsored or promotional placements are clearly identified as such and never disguised as editorial content.
